Ecto Plasm Day dip is now available in six flavours, Damson /white chocolate, Coconut, Frankfurter, Sardine, Mackerel and the ever faithful Scopex/peach.

Designed in conjunction with a fluoro attracter type bait but with added goodies to give it more carp appeal.

This amazing dip creates an aurora around any hookbait once immersed in water. Its sticky enough to withstand a good 100yard cast and the response of the carp seeing this has to be seen to be believed. The halo/aurora glow can last up to 8hrs once in water. 

So what is the Ecto-Plasm and why is it so effective?

The Ecto-Plasm is a gel hormone product which reacts with water and natural light. As soon as it is immersed in water it creates an aurora of glow around the hookbait in a very bright green colour and is very visible.
Initial tests were on a verity of different waters and one thing we noticed instantly when placing baits in the edge was the abundance of naturals which it attracted. Within minutes the single red hookbait bait would be crawling and almost black in Colour there was that much naturals clinging to it. 

 Do you think a carp's eye sight is good enough to see that, or is it all about the attractors it holds not the way it looks?.......

From our observations and speaking to various people about this we do believe that a carp see greens and blues very easily due to their spectrum of light. I remember reading an article from one of the Alien Baits lads who clarified this and no doubt many of us will know how good the glow in the dark corn was!
Is that down to the light levels or the tiniest drop of N-byutric acid they are believed to hold? I personally think it’s the light and inquisitiveness of the carp that they will take a look and possibly try, many times I have used the glowing corn on the surface into the hours of darkness and still caught fish, if they do contain N-Byutric no way those levels (in plastic corn) are enough to pull a carp in and get it to take your bait (we cant smell the N-Byutric in the corn) carp have a trillion times better sense and taste than we do so who knows.

I think the attractor package needs to be acceptable to the carp which is why we have played about for so long with it. The initial batch we got of this stuff contained sardine flavor and to be honest it was rank and smelt rank.
After a few tweeks and tests Darren came up with a combination of sweetener and stimulants to make it more appealing to fish and their reaction was mental.
Our first initial tests with the sardine flavour were still positive as carp would clock the glow in 6-7 ft of water and that’s with them swimming in the upper layers, immediately they would be on the deck and checking it out. Because it was not giving of food signals (sardine,of which was seriously rank) they never ate it but the reaction of them seeing it and dragging themselves down we knew if we could come up with the right attractor balance they would eat it, so we ordered it unflavoured and got to work, almost 9 months down the line here we are happy with the results and ready to launch it.
